Support the structure through a change
Structural alterations can change how loads are carried during construction. Temporary support and the permanent work need a coordinated sequence, suitable bearing and project-specific details. We review the required scope before demolition or removal begins.
Reinforcement and repair scopes
Work can include joist sistering, engineered lumber installation, structural framing repairs and support during alterations. Existing damage, concealed conditions and interfaces with masonry or steel are reviewed against the project drawings.
Plan responsibility and sequence
Share the structural details, photos, access conditions and demolition plan. Shoring design, installation, inspections, duration and removal stages are identified before work. Permanent structural support and any foundation work are separately described in the estimate.
Restoration work from our projects
Our Hamilton fire-restoration scope included roof reframing, interior walls and repairs to existing floor joists. A Toronto commercial fire project involved demolition and structural re-support of the remaining block foundation wall.

Is temporary support included with beam work?
Where required, it must be explicitly addressed in the installation plan and written estimate, including supply and removal responsibilities.
